Job Description:
SALARY: $50,000 - $81,950. First year teacher can earn $53,810 by participating in our Three-Year Teacher Mentorship Program ($810) and Performance Pay ($3,000.00 approx.), which is earned and paid the same year. WESD offers an exceptional support system for Paid Student Teachers, Alternative Pathways Teachers (Degree outside education), Traditional Student Teachers, and continuing teachers, so all teachers feel supported! There are Mentors and an Instructional Coaches at every site. WESD also provides District Coaches who do not evaluate, but visit schools with the purpose of helping teachers as an additional support system.
