Develops instructional plans and organizes class time to provide a balanced professionalism, demonstration and working time. Provides individual and small group instruction in order to adapt curriculum to the needs of the students with varying intellectual abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities. Establish and maintain good communication with parents; inform parents of student progress and school activities. Evaluates each student's performance and growth in knowledge and understanding. Cooperates in school-wide supervision of students during out-of-classroom activities. Use and implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain organization, orderliness, student safety, and a productive learning environment.
Position requires a B.A./B.S. degree. Valid Arizona Secondary Education Teaching Certificate and/or is NCLB Highly Qualified (passed AEPA or met criteria). SEI endorsement Applicants must also possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
