Job Description:

 The Guidance Counselor is responsible for creating a safe, intellectually challenging learning environment in which each student is actively engaged in meaningful activities.  Provide direct prevention and outreach services to students and families with close supervision at schools & within the community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.       Applicants need to be highly qualified as defined by the State of Arizona and other Governing regulations

1. Arizona Guidance Counselor Certification.
2. Master’s Degree with a major in guidance and counseling or social work.
3. Three years teaching experience at the K-8th school level preferred.
4. Licensed Professional Counselor is preferred.
5. First Aid/CPR Certified
6. Valid Arizona Driver’s License

8.       Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

1. Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and extensive background check
