TUSD Title: Teacher HS - CTE Automotive

SUMMARY:

Automotive CTE High School Teacher - Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR AUTOMOTIVE CTE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER:

• Arizona CTE Industrial and Emerging Technologies Certificate K-12
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS UPON HIRE:

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS:

• Automotive CTE High School Teacher Pay Range $47,400 to $54,900/year

• Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
• LOCATION: Santa Rita High School - Pantano & Escalante Area
• FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
• Work Calendar: 9.5 month
• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
