Job Description:

Tanque Verde USD is seeking an Adult Program Coordinator for the Lew Sorensen Community Center (LSCC). The LSCC is a community facility offering various recreational, educational, and enrichment activities. It is serves as a hub for adult and youth programs, including arts and crafts, and other lifelong learning opportunities. The center often features classes like pottery, painting, catering to the interests of the local community. It's known for fostering a welcoming environment for social and creative engagement. This is a part-time position that averages 16 hours per session. 

The Adult Program Coordinator duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Overseeing a staff of (currently) 8 instructors, 9 volunteers and up to 114 students
• Calculating and submitting payroll at the end of each 8 week session
• Coordinating and executing staff meetings
• Fielding registrations for up to 114 students
• Assisting with website updates for each session
• Liaison representing LSCC for the Tanque Verde Market and coordinating tables for Market Days
• Overseeing, photographing and uploading to social media
• In contact with/ communication with various members of TVUSD for LSCC in regards to building updates/ maintenance, staff issues and district newsletter updates
• Seeking out different teachers to build the LSCC program/ class offerings as well as interviewing potential candidates

Pay is $325 per session.
