Job Description:

Lead Custodian

SUMMARY

Lead Custodian performs various cleaning duties in assigned areas of district buildings or schools in accordance with county health department standards and standards established by site administrators. Monitors the activities and assignments of Custodians.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR LEAD CUSTODIAN

• 5 years or more of custodial experience
• Speak, read, and write in English.
• Comprehend graphic/oral instructions in English

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

• FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
• Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 50lb. lift test.
• Mandatory TUSD New-Hire Custodial Training.
• Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department.

COMMENTS:

• Lead CustodianPay Range $16.90 to 19.62/hour

• Effective: 2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR
• Sahuaro High School- Broadway & Camino Seco Area
• Classification: Blue Collar
• FTE: 1.0 - 8 hours per day
• Work Calendar: 12 month
• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
