School Psychology Intern
SUMMARY
School Psychology intern performs all duties of a School Psychologist, under the direct supervision of one or more TUSD School Psychologists. Responsibilities include psycho-educational evaluations, individual and group counseling, and staff consultations.
MINIMUM REQUIREM FOR SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST INTERN
- Must be part of an accredited University/College program in Psychology working towards a doctorate degree.
- All pre-requisite work required by the School Psychology Program must be completed.
- Applicant should have completed a Psychology Externship and Practicum requirements.
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY INTERN
- Bilingual - Spanish/English
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department.
COMMENTS
- School Psychology Intern pay range up to $18.24/hour

- Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
- Location: Exceptional Education - Sites Vary
- Classification: Supervisory/Professional
- FTE: 1.0 - 8 hours per day - 3 positions available
- Work Calendar: 10 month
- This position is a TEMPORARY position and will end in June 2025.
- Will complete School Psychology Master’s Degree program in May 2025, or earlier.
- Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
