Position: Instructional Coach

Campus: Kingman High School

School Year: 2024-25 (July 8, 2024-May 21, 2025)

Summary/Objective

Serve as part of the school leadership team and be responsible for the management, analysis, and dissemination of a variety of school-wide data. Work directly with site administration in planning and implementing school-wide strategies designed to support student-centered learning practices.

 

Essential Functions

  1. Assist teachers with the implementation of Arizona State Standards for English Language Arts.
  2. Assist and support the implementation of Beyond Textbooks and all components with its philosophy.
  3. Collect and monitor student achievement data using formative, summative, benchmarks, and state-determined assessments.
  4. Ensure assessment data is communicated to all stakeholders regularly.
  5. Meet and plan with teachers, staff and administration on data findings regularly (weekly, monthly, quarterly) as defined by Academic Services
  6. Assist with disaggregating and analyzing benchmark, progress monitors and other district formatives to help guide the instructional decisions of teachers.
  7. Monitor and report the effectiveness and progress of instruction and student performance to Academic Services.
  8. Responsible for components of ongoing professional development to support goals and initiatives.
  9. Provide additional support needed to implement various instruction and practices.
  10. Regularly monitor assessments and intervention administration for integrity and fidelity.
  11. Assist with data collection, procedures, scheduling, and generally collaborate to increase student achievement.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s or mores advanced degree in education from an accredited institution
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a teacher

 

Preferred Education and Experience

Master’s degree

 

Required Certifications/Licenses

Valid Arizona teaching certificate, appropriate to the position. This could include standard elementary or secondary teaching certification or an administrator certificate, such as a Supervisor, Prekindergarten-12 Certificate.

 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
