Position Summary:
Sentinel Elementary School District 71 is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Teachers to join our team for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners, foster a love for education, and create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. This role requires a commitment to academic excellence, creativity, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with Arizona State Standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and administrators.
- Develop and implement classroom management strategies to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with educational best practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships and support student success.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
- Adhere to all school district policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certification for the appropriate grade level.
- Proven ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, with additional hours for preparation, meetings, and events as needed.
