Head Girls' Volleyball Coach
Miami Jr. Sr. High School is seeking a qualified and motivated Head Varsity Girls' Volleyball Coach to lead our volleyball program with a focus of building character on and off the court, instilling values of discipline, leadership, teamwork, and perseverance while striving for excellence in competition while maintaining compliance with school, district, and interscholastic regulations.
Essential Functions:
The head girls' volleyball position is responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. The Head Girls' Varsity Volleyball Coach motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. Works closely with student athletes to develop good character on and off the court, instilling values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance while striving for excellence in competition. Assists teachers, counselors, and other school personnel with student athlete attendance, academics, and behavior in and out of basketball season.
Requirements:
All head varsity coaches shall have valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, Arizona Coaching Certificate, Substitute or have completed the National Federation of State High School Associations Level I Certification online at https://nfhslearn.com within forty-five (45) days from date of hire.
Head Coaches shall be approved in accordance with the personnel policies of the school district and in accordance with the Arizona Revised Statutes. This certification shall be on file in the district office.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from Arizona Department of Public Safety. (Assistance and instructions to obtaining one is provided is necessary or go to www.azdps.gov)
