Position Overview:

As our Special Education Director, you will:

• Oversee and coordinate all special education programs and services
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Support and mentor teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with families, staff, and administration to best serve student needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• State certification in Special Education or Special Education Endorsement (or eligibility for certification)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in special education
• Experience in leadership, program development, and compliance within special education
• Passion for inclusive education and interest in the Montessori philosophy
