Candeo Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher/Services Coordinator.

Experience in and/or knowledge of Classical Education, Core Knowledge, Singapore Math, Socratic Seminar, and/or Great Books and Classics is a plus.

As the Special Education Teacher, you will work in conjunction with administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to support students' growth and success in providing access to Candeo's vigorous and coherent knowledge-based curriculum. Your duties include the following:
IEP writing
Designing and providing specialized instruction for students with IEPs
Records management
Services monitoring and program compliance
ADE (ESS) reporting
504/IEP training and support for staff
one-on-one and small group instruction
pullout and inclusion instruction
in-class monitoring and teacher assistance
The ideal candidate has excellent communication and management skills, is able to understand the big picture while working in the details, and is able to problem solve in the work setting in a highly efficient manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $65,000 per year, depending on education, talent, and experience
