Work with a great team of school psychologists at Flagstaff Unified School District. Our role in the schools focuses primarily on evaluation, but psychologists are often counted on to provide technical assistance on a range of issues, including behavioral consultation, IDEA compliance, MTSS, and monitoring the progress of students with disabilities. There is room to pursue and focus on your own professional interests. Our cohesive school psychology department has developed tools and guidance documents to support decision making.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Master’s degree and a valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist certificate. Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of school psychology theory, child development, child and adolescent psychopathology, and psychometric principals as related to psychoeducational testing. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess excellent time management skills. Must possess knowledge and have an understanding of education leadership. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, school team members, community agencies, and others.
