Job Description:

Valley Union High School is seeking dedicated and highly motivated educators to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for passionate teachers who are committed to student success, academic excellence, and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and standards-aligned lesson plans.
• Utilize data-driven instruction to assess student progress and differentiate instruction.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes student learning and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student achievement.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.
• Implement accommodations and modifications for diverse learners (Special Education role).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the subject area or related field.
• Arizona Teaching Certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Strong classroom management skills and instructional strategies.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student growth and development.
• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with instructional technology and differentiated instruction.
• Previous teaching experience at the high school level.
• For Special Education: Experience developing IEPs and providing specialized instruction.
