Dynamic Elementary School Principal

Experienced Instructional Leader

The following characteristics are important for consideration:

EXPERIENCE

• At least three years of successful experience as Principal is preferred
• Completion of professional credits in educational leadership, administration and/or curriculum and instruction at or above the Master's Degree is preferred

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

• An ethical administrator who deals with others in an honest and forthright manner and possesses a style that encourages trust among all segments of the staff and community
• Hold high expectations of self and others, especially students in accountability, honesty, accessibility, involvement and commitment to the District and its students
• Ability to exhibit sensitivity to diverse views and opinions, understand rural area needs and to articulate the mission of the District to its residents
• Willingness to be accessible and to deal openly with members of the Governing Board, Superintendent, media and the community
