Job Description:

General Description: 

Under general direction, performs professional social work duties of moderate to considerable difficulty. The school social worker will work with those social, emational, behavioral and personal circumstances which interfere with the student making positive contructive use of the school's education programs. The school social worker's primary purpose is to provide services to school staff, students and families that strengthen, home and community relationships to alleviate barriers to learning. 

Qualifications: 

• Hold an Arizona Department of Education endorsed School Social Worker certificate or a MSW
• Proficiency in computer skills sufficient to complete necessary forms and documentation related to the job
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid State Driver's Lincense
• Fluency in Navajo Language preferred
