General Description: 

To coordinate and facilitate educational programs and relevant staff professional development which promote student growth in the following areas. 

• General intellectual aptitude 
• Specific academic aptitude 
• Creative or productive thinking
• Leadership ability
• Visual and performing arts

Qualifications: 

• Arizona Teacher Certification, with a current Arizona Gifted Endorsement
• Three years of teaching experience 
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Speaking and technology skills related to presentations 
• Spreadsheet and data analysis skills
• Aptitude for working with families and adult learners
• Aptitude for coordinating programs and resources preferred
• Experience coordinating, implementing and monitoring programs preferred
• Experience teaching gifted students preferred
• Experience administering gifted testing/evaluation preferrred
• Master's Degree preferred
