QUALIFICATIONS 

1. Valid Arizona Administrative Certificate
2. Five years of administrative experience at the PreK-12 school level
3. Evidence of Administrative experience to include a deep understanding of the school system, proven commitment to improving student achievement and student belonging, demonstrated success in effectively engaging a team to raise student learning, and effective collaborative relationships skills with principals and district staff members
4. Knowledge, skill and or experience in the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) strategies or be willing to receive training in those strategies

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Advance leadership capacity and collective practices across the district utilizing the University of Virginia Partnership for Leaders in Education (UVA-PLE) research-based practices.
2. Participate as a core change team member in the PLE leadership implementation plan.
3. Ensure critical components of the PLE leadership initiative are conducted with fidelity.
4. Advance collective and continuous improvement leadership practices within the PLE initiative.
5. Coach, facilitate, and collaborate with principals to identify leadership strengths and specific areas to develop.
6. Participate in cross-organizational collaboration with district leadership and the core change team to strengthen systematic changes in school leadership.
7. Facilitate PLE site visits and coaching sessions.
8. Facilitate PLE district school leadership development sessions, professional development, and meetings.
9. Attend professional development sessions sponsored by UVA-PLE.
10. Regularly report to Cabinet on the progress of UVA-PLE district initiatives.
11. Serve as the secondary contact with UVA-PLE.
