5TH GRADE ELA/SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER, 2025-2026

LOCATION: Benson Primary School
REPORTS TO: Benson Primary School Principal
START DATE: July 14, 2025

TERMS/BENEFITS: 188 day contract; medical, dental, vision, life benefits; 403(b); 10 sick days and 2 personal days; preschool/child care discounts; mandatory participation in Arizona State Retirement System.

SALARY: $42,198 - $60,100 (depending on education and experience); + additional monies of $1,400 if performance pay criteria is met

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES/CLEARANCES:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education  ~OR~  Any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that meets the minimum qualifications and state certification requirements will be accepted
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
• Appropriately certified in content area
• Criminal background clearance
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
