Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Science Teacher to join our team. This role involves leading engaging, synchronous live lessons once a week, supporting students in their independent learning, providing timely and constructive feedback, and helping high school students stay on track academically.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a once-a-week live synchronous science lesson per subject for secondary students.

  • Provide asynchronous support through grading, feedback, and responding to student questions.

  • Monitor student progress and provide academic support to ensure success.

  • Collaborate with other educators and school staff to provide a cohesive learning experience.

  • Communicate regularly with students and parents to support academic growth.

  • Utilize online learning platforms and technology effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.

  • Must have Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Must reside in Arizona.
  • Valid teaching certification in Science (preferred).

  • Experience in virtual or hybrid teaching environments preferred.

  • Strong communication and technology skills.
