JOB GOAL: To provide leadership in assuring the accomplishment of the school system’s ongoing goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in educational administration or similarly related field
Three or more years successful administrative experience in a school district environment
Knowledge of federal and Arizona state laws related education
Experience in Grants Management, Grants Budgeting and the Grants Application Process
Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, respond well to questions, demonstrate group presentation skills, and participate in meetings.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 261 Days 12 Months
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
EVALUATION: Annually by the Chief Financial Officer
HOURS: 40 hours per week and may require longer hours - Monday-Friday
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Oversee Migrant Education Grant; Approve Certificate Of Eligibility (COE) for Migrant Education program
Interpreter for the Migrant Education Program students IEP meetings
Arizona Interagency Farmworker Coalition Inc. member; Service coordination of the Migrant Education Summer School Program; Oversee internal audits for Migrant and Adult Education program – student data
Oversee Adult Education Grant
Supervise Adult Education student community involvement; Attend Maricopa Adult Education Programs Directors meetings
Collaborate with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs
Oversee Community Outreach (Family Resource Center); Collaborate with community food and clothing banks
Coordinate food, toy and school supplies drives with the community and local agencies
Coordinate Back to School clothing event with local clubs and schools; Supervise McKinney Vento/Homeless Liaison
Oversight of Department Budget including Overtime Hours; Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPENSATION: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
