Job Description:

JOB GOAL:

The English Language Learner Coordinator will work collaboratively and provide support and assistance to the principal in the coordination of the District’s English Language Learner services to ensure program compliance to State and Federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.          Valid Arizona State Elementary or Secondary Teaching Certificate.

2.          Valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

3.          Master’s Degree required.

4.          English as a Second Language (ESL) and/or Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement.

5.          Five years of successful teaching experience working with English Language diverse population.

6.          Experience and knowledge in working with adults in providing professional development and coordination and scheduling of a District-wide assessment.

7.          Experience and knowledge of the AZ English Language Learner Assessment (AZELLA), AZ English Language Proficiency Standards, AZ Structured English Immersion Models and data analysis.

8.          Computer literacy required for data entry, analysis, and communications.

SALARY RANGE:  $68,000 - $74,000
