JOB GOAL: To perform record-keeping tasks and manage forms/information for migrant student records and process all migrant student data and work in conjunction with all levels of school personnel of the East Valley regional consortium. Work closely with program recruiters to identify and provide services for children and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School or HSE diploma (2 years college degree preferred)
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Typing and computer skills required
Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must pass a background check.
Excellent customer service skills
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 261 days; 12 months
REPORTS TO: Director Family Resource Center
HOURS: 40 per week - Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Input data of Migrant Education students and save information into MIS2000
Input SP codes for each eligible Migrant Education student into MIS2000
Filling and follow up with general and confidential documentation for the Migrant Education Program
Assist with interpretation of child/family eligibility and programmatic issues
Maintain up to date family records, family needs assessments, referrals and follow ups
Type monthly reports for staff and program Director; Facilitates the enrollment process for children and work closely with other staff to assess program enrollment compliance
Maintain up to date Migrant Education program student mailing lists and telephone numbers; Maintain calendars for State Department of Education reports
Maintain records of attendance, assessments results and other student information for the Migrant Education Program; Keep activity log updated (required by ADE-MEP)
Attend to Migrant Education Staff development workshops; Implement and maintain other general practices and procedures; Attend staff development in services and meetings
Run biweekly reports from the MIS2000; Must be able to lift 50lbs; Perform other duties as assigned
COMPENSATION: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
