Job Description:

Salome High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Salome High School is a small, rural school serving a wide geographic area of more than 3,400 square miles in Western Arizona. We are located approximately 60 miles west of the Greater Phoenix Area and 60 miles from the Arizona–California border. Our small class sizes allow teachers to build strong relationships with students and provide flexibility in instructional approaches, as long as state standards are met.

Many of our teachers take on additional roles (such as coaching, IT support, or class sponsorship), and while this position focuses on math instruction, we welcome candidates with additional interests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate or the ability to obtain appropriate certification

Compensation:
Salary is based on education and experience. Performance pay opportunities are available.
