JOB CLASSIFICATION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing paraprofessional and technical assistance in all areas of human
resources.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This is a paraprofessional classification responsible for providing support and technical
assistance in all areas of human resources administration including, but not limited to,
recruitment and selection, employment verification, HRIS updating, registration/fingerprinting and badge processing, processing payroll changes, running verify and background checks and processing unemployment claims.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The following are intended to describe core work functions of this classification. While the level and broad nature of essential duties may not change, specific work tasks will vary over time depending on the District’s needs.
* In-person attendance is an essential function of this classification.
• Maintains the District’s computerized Visions Management System for all employees;
• Assists department leadership with employee relations (communication; recruitment and
retention strategies);
• Ensures the accuracy of District’s databases, (Visions, Background Checks, References, EVerify);
• Provides status report data from Visions System for individual(s) and group(s);
• Maintains and tracks Highly Qualified Teacher database through the Arizona Department
of Education website;
• Assists sites to ensure accuracy on Electronic Personnel Action Requests (E-PAR’s);
• Initiates information in human resources systems;
• Processes data regarding new hires, transfers, and terminations in a timely manner;
• Creates human resources related correspondence; Letters of intent, Notice Agreements
and contracts;
• Maintains evaluation tracking for all employees;
• Ensures fingerprint and certification databases are accurate;
• Coordinates job postings, advertisements, screening and interviews when needed;
• Coordinates and facilitates new employee orientation; • Acts as backup to the Front Desk as needed (i.e. answering telephones; greeting staff, parents and the public);
• Maintains personnel filing; and
• Performs related work as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of directly-related education and experience.
Required Certifications/Licenses:
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC).
