The Principal of Ventana Vista Elementary provides administrative oversight and instructional leadership for a Spanish immersion elementary school. The principal plans, coordinates, and supervises all aspects of the immersion program including bilingual curriculum implementation, language development, cultural integration, staff supervision, budgeting, student discipline, and community engagement. Ventana Vista is located at 6085 N. Kolb Road, Tucson, Arizona 85750.

Exempt; 12 months

Salary: Based on Experience

Minimum Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education, Education Administration, or a closely related field; valid Arizona Administrative Certification; five years of teaching experience; current certificate to teach in the State of Arizona from the Arizona State Department of Education.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an elementary principal; proficient Spanish and English speaker; demonstrated knowledge of immersion education models; experience working with multilingual learners; training or experience in second language acquisition; knowledge of school administration specific to immersion settings.
