Country Gardens Charter School – Arizona

Country Gardens Charter School is seeking a caring, dependable, and qualified Part-Time Special Education Teacher to join our elementary school team.

This position will primarily provide resource and pull-out instruction to students with special needs. The teacher will work with students individually and in small groups to support their academic progress, address IEP goals, and help them build confidence and independence.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction through resource and pull-out services
• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in reading, writing, math, and other academic areas
• Implement and monitor student IEP goals
• Track student progress and maintain required special education documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and related-service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student IEPs
• Provide accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies based on individual student needs
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and welcoming learning environment

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, accommodations, and specially designed instruction
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A patient, compassionate, and student-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team

Schedule

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. Specific days and hours may be arranged based on the needs of the school and the availability of the selected candidate.
